My husband brought home a full page ad about Abilify(aripiprazole) in the newspaper. I have not heard about it before and I wondered if anyone has taken it before? I will go look it up on the net, but first hand information is best.

I know of 2 people who really liked Abilify. Unfortunately one has closed her blog & the other just isn't blogging.
I haven't heard anything negative though. I think it all depends on the person.
Example: Maggs can handle lamictal, but I had very adverse effects to it.
I'm on welbutrin & neurontin, but I've heard people who have had bad reactions to neurontin.
I think reading online about it & just being very cautious is an excellent idea.

I'm on abilify and I have to take two meds to combat the mania it gives me, so I end up a manic zombie, if that makes sense.
